Our Public Sector client has an opportunity for a Part-Time Procurement Officer….
The Procurement Officer will work as part of the busy Procurement Team and support with all day-to-day purchasing activities including mini-competitions and Quick Quotes. They will ensure that systems are updated and produce management reports. The Procurement Officer will analyse data and use financial models to present efficient performance. They will liaise with Stakeholders and Suppliers and support them with any enquiries or issues they may have….
Knowledge and experience required for the role.
- Experience working in a procurement/purchasing role
- Proven experience working in a similar Public Sector Procurement role would be
- Knowledge of the principles of contract drafting and negotiation
- Strong analytical and advanced Excel skills
- Experience in managing processes and meeting targets and deadlines on a day-to-day basis
- Understand the importance of delivering a First-Class procurement service to Stakeholders
- Enjoy building working relationships with Stakeholders/Customers
