Responsibilities of the role:
- Oversee all aspects of the engineering stores - goods receipt, warehousing, stock control, and sourcing.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small, high-performing team.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure materials are available when needed.
- Use inventory management techniques (cycle counting, FIFO, stock checks) to maintain optimal levels.
- Identify and implement cost-saving and efficiency improvements.
- Report on KPIs and ensure compliance with standards.
