Responsibilities:
- Perform proactive and reactive maintenance tasks
- Support production teams to ensure quick resolution of breakdowns
- Troubleshoot and resolve engineering challenges
- Ensure safe working practices through effective communication
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Adaptable to working hours to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping
Required Experience:
- Completed time-served or modern apprenticeship in an engineering field (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a fast-paced production environment would be advantageous
- Strong knowledge of conveyors, gearboxes, motors, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Multiskilled in both mechanical and electrical work is highly desirable
- Familiarity with PLCs, controls, and drives is an advantage
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings
