Escape Recruitment Services is recruiting for our client, a successful manufacturing company based in Fife recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis.
Based within their small but busy Finance team, you will work 4 days per week onsite and one day remotely from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all credit control responsibilities, from initial chasing to issuing final chase letters before litigation.
- Reconcile debtor accounts, ensuring discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly.
- Liaise with debtors via email and phone to resolve queries and outstanding payments.
- Investigate and resolve internal and external issues related to outstanding invoices.
- Prepare monthly statement of accounts.
- Process accounts receivable invoicing.
- Check potential customers’ credit ratings with banks and agencies to determine creditworthiness.
- Process monthly and weekly payroll for circa. 50 staff.
- Assist Finance Manager with month end tasks and ad-hoc projects.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience of working in a relevant Accounts &/or Finance Assistant role which should include credit control and ideally payroll tasks.
- Exceptional communication skills, with internal and external customers.
- Able to use initiative to plan and achieve own tasks and deadlines.
- Confident IT skills particularly MS Excel.
