My candidate is an experienced Design Engineer who is currently acting as a lead for their team – scheduling activities, delegating work packages, carrying out design reviews and approvals and providing technical support on a wide range of activities from conceptual design to mechanical testing.
They have experience of design for manufacture and have worked with a range of design packages including Inventor, CATIA and SolidEdge.
They have completed calculations for tolerances and loads a beam can hold and have used FEA for displacement and static stresses. My candidate also works closely with the workshop to ensure designs are accurate and manufacturable.
