Escape Recruitment is working on a great opportunity for a Production Coordinator to join an established Supply Chain Team. The Production Coordinator will support the Supply Chain and Production Teams with daily activities.

They will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager who will mentor and develop the Production Coordinator to develop their skills and knowledge and gain a full understanding of how the role and the process.

The Production Coordinator will work with internal colleagues to identify demands and priorities, expedite orders and generate reports.

A typical day will involve:

  • Generate Purchase Orders from MRP reports
  • Manage Supplier order acknowledgements, expedite orders and ensure the Production Schedules are maintained
  • Produce reports for the Supply Chain Team to support Materials Supply - order status, OTD, cost reduction and production updates
  • Compile and distribute Manufacturing Order Shop Packets
  • Ensure the MRP/ERP systems are updated and maintained
  • Update BOM and Product Data with any changes

Our client is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated individual with a high work ethic. Ideally you have worked with ERP or MRP systems and have a good understanding of Excel.

Numerical and accuracy skills are also key for this role, as well as great communication skills as the Production Coordinator will work closely with colleagues across all departments.
