QUALITY ENGINEER / QUALITY TECHNICIAN
📍 East Kilbride | ⏳ Full-time, Permanent | 📆 4-day working week
Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-tech products used within specialised engineering applications They are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer or Quality Technician to join its growing team. The role is easily accessible from most areas of Glasgow (central and South side) and Lanarkshire. The company operate on a 4 day working week with every Friday off!!! This role supports the Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO requirements while driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality standards
- Maintain ISO 9001 & 14001 compliance
- Conduct internal and external audits
- Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with suppliers to drive improvements
Skills & Experience:
- Manufacturing experience essential
- Strong knowledge of QMS, ISO 9001, and quality methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean)
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
