1970 Born (Generation X)

1992 Qualify as an Accountant with CIMA

1999 Register with Michael Page looking for Accountancy work

1999 They spot something, and I join them as a recruitment consultant – take a risk!

2000 Promoted to Regional Manager – the risk paid off!

2003 Join Hudson as Managing Consultant, similar job role, different company

2006 Accept the newly created role of Client Relationship Manager – another risk worth taking

2008 Join Escape in July, just before the markets crash in October – yikes!

2011 Become a Board member/Director at Escape

2017 Buy a stake in Escape

2019 Become a Board member for the charity Up2Us

Supporting our customers

Today as part of my role as Commercial Director I manage both our Industrial and Commercial & Administration recruitment teams and our inhouse Business Support teams including Payroll. I am also Account Director for a number of our major client accounts, directly supporting and aiming to add value to clients, candidates, and colleagues.
